During our 80th year, Malmesbury Young Farmers have both worked and parted in order to raise money for our chosen charities. Proceeds from our annual parties, along with those from our sponsored bike ride to Weymouth, have allowed us to donate to these worthy causes at the end of our year under the chairmanship of Laura Bishop. We have recently donated £3000 to Wiltshire Air Ambulance, £3000 to the British Heart Foundation, £1000 to Walter Powell Pre-School and £1000 to PROPS, as well as a £1500 earlier in the year to the Mayors Flood Appeal.
We hope to continue the good work and enjoyment over the next year, under James Hutchinson’s lead.
